PROTEST AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT'S SILENCE ON MICHAEL COLEMAN!
Martin Place, Sydney, corner of Angel Place

Dear friends,

As you know, our brave comrade Michael Coleman is still in detention in Givon Prison near Ramla in Israel. This is disgusting as is the deafening silence of Rudd and Gillard and their failure to ensure Michael's prompt release from prison. Their refusal to defend his rights has been woeful, as is their whole policy in regard to Palestine, with total impunity for Israel. Remember, theFreedom Waves activists have been subject to an act of piracy, beaten, tasered, hand-cuffed and shackled, and held incommunicado for an unacceptable length of time. All this for seeking to enter Gaza and break the blockade. And Israel tries to tell us that they no longer occupy Gaza!

OTHER WAYS TO SUPPORT MICHAEL
There are a few quick and easy ways you can help Michael right nowcall Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd on (02) 6277 7500 and urge him to call on Israel for Michael's immediate and unconditional release, leave Michael a message of support by clicking here, or make a donation to support the Australian delegation of Freedom Waves (Bank: Commonwealth Bank   Acc. Name: GFF Australia Group   BSB: 062102   Acc. No.: 10197185).

Show your support for Qantas workers: Protest millionaire Qantas CEO
City Recital Hall, 2-12 Angel Place, Sydney

Qantas CEO Alan Joyce is speaking at a UNSW School of Business "Meet the CEO" event. Joyce is a clear symbol of the greed and ruthlessness of the 1% - join our protest outside the meeting to show him how we feel, and demand that Qantas meets workers' demands to keep their jobs and have decent wages that keep up with the cost of living. Joyce locked out his entire workforce in late October, and succeeded in winning a termination to all industrial action to fight his profiteering.

Lets build support for the Qantas workers and send a message that we won't stand for this at Qantas or anywhere else. Human need not corporate greed! Hosted by Occupy Sydney
