NSS volunteers donate money for Seechewal Trust

Ludhiana, September 30 The NSS volunteers of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd participating in 10 days NSS camp led by their principal Dr Paramjit Kaur, donated Rs 15,000 to the Ek Onkar Trust being run by Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal.
The Campers accompanied by the NSS programme officers Rajwinder Kaur, Varinder Kaur, Shalini Gupta, visited the Nirmal kuteya of Baba Seechewal at Sultanpur Lodhi to seek his blessings.
Seechewal in his address to the students, acquainted them with the historic importance of the place which was sanctified by the visit of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in 15th Century. He exhorted the students to coordinate their efforts and energies for the upkeep of healthy and congenial environment in the society which will pave the way for the healthy citizens and healthy minds.
The students paid obeisance at the historic Ber Sahib Gurudwara and partook of the Langar in the community kitchen of the Sikh Temple.
