Arabian Sights.....
Egyptian demonstrator showing a tear gas canister Made in USA, where else??

The US government, which has sought to mask its hostility to the popular movement in Tunisia with empty talk of "democratic reform", has responded to the mass protests in Egypt by reiterating its support for Mubarak. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters in Washington: "Our assessment is that the Egyptian government is stable and is looking for ways to respond to the legitimate needs and interests of the Egyptian people."

This indicates that Washington is determined to draw the line in Egypt and is prepared to back brutal repressive measures by Mubarak...

Tens Of Thousands March In Egypt Against Mubarak Regime
Johannes Stern & Stefan Steinberg

This is the only truthful statement I found in this article which otherwise is full of the usual Western "leftist" poison-- hypocrisies, mis-representation of facts, outright lies, and of course all wrapped up in a typical dose of Western arrogance. GZ

"Mubarak has been an ally of ours in a number of things. And he's been very responsible on, relative to geopolitical interest in the region, the Middle East peace efforts; the actions Egypt has taken relative to normalizing relationship with – with Israel. … I would not refer to him as a dictator."...
Joe Biden

"We have an earthquake in the Middle East ... but we believe the Egyptian regime is strong enough and that Egypt is going to overcome the current wave of demonstrations,"
"Mubarak is not Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. There is a huge difference. The Egyptian regime is well-rooted, including the defense establishment. Their regime is strong enough to overcome the situation,"

"It is in the fundamental interests of Egypt to maintain its privileged ties with the West, and maintaining peace with Israel is part of that,"

an ["Israeli"] cabinet minister, speaking on condition of anonymity, told journalists on Thursday.

Egyptians (and Tunisians, etc) should be aware of the trained hidden hands of the CIA (and MOSAAD) to sabotage the popular Intifadas. GZ

Good News

Witnesses saw demonstrators cleaning up the streets of Downtown which were filled with stones, papers and fire remnants.

Egyptian Riot Police Using Tear Gas "Made In The U.S.A."

One has to wonder what the average Egyptian out in the streets over the past several days protesting an authoritarian and corrupt regime thinks when they look down at the tear gas canister that was just fired at them, and see this:

CNBC anchor implies US must support dictators to keep cheap oil flowingCNBC contributor Erin Burnett said Friday that oil prices would skyrocket if countries in the Middle East broke out from under the rule of brutal dictators.

Israel Fears Regime Change in Egypt

Israel is watching developments in Egypt with concern. The government is standing by autocratic Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, out of fear that the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood could take power and start supplying arms to the Hamas government in Gaza.

Emergency demonstrations in solidarity with Egyptian people

Down with the U.S.-backed Mubarak dictatorship

End U.S. support for the Mubarak dictatorship!
Victory to the Egyptian People!

Following the popular revolt that overthrew the U.S.-allied dictatorship in Tunisia, the Egyptian people have taken to the streets in the hundreds of thousands demanding the fall of another U.S. client dictator, Hosni Mubarak. The U.S. gives $2 billion per year to prop up the Mubarak dictatorship. Egypt is second only to Israel as the largest receipient of U.S. "foreign aid." That "assistance" has been used to buy the tear gas and other weapons and equipment that are killing Egyptian people attempting to exercise their right to protest and speak out.

EMERGENCY DEMONSTRATION IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

Saturday, January 29
12 noon
In front of the Egyptian Embassy
3521 International Court Northwest

After seeing what is happening today in Egypt
I must add
my doubts
about what has happened
to that
Church in Alexandria..
..

I am starting to suspect
Husny Mubarak´s regime itself
who might have planned this bombing
just
to divert
the attention
from his own Dictatorship.

Anyhow ,

this is my advise to my Egyptian
Brothers and Sisters

1
Send Husny to join Anwar Sadat

2
Get the army to rule for the next 100 days

3
make a free election
on the 25th of April

4
Nationalise all properties of Mubarak´s clan
and of each Egyptian who
collaborated with Israel

5open
the borders with Gaza

6 revoke
the Peace-treaty with Israel

7
allow an independent
popular-volunteer-army
(like Hezbollah)
and declare any liberation
of Arab lands
as legal.

8allow all
political-parties
(even the fundamentalists)

9set up popular-tribunals
as South Africa did.

10
close the USA Embassy for 5 years
and the Israeli Embassy for ever !!

"Mabrouk ya Oum el Dunia  !! "

I salute the city of Cairo
which even under a care-few
it still has traffic-jams on its streets.

I salute the intelligence of the US
Vice-President Joe Biden
who said :
quote

" Mubarak is not a Dictator"

unquote

I salute the Cairo demonstrators
who are forming a human shield to protect
the National Museum.
I suspect that Mubarak secret-police
shall set fire to the National Museum
to distract from the issue.....
of liberation of Egypt

I salute Husny Mubarak
who never appointed any Vice-President,
otherwise he would have had an idiot like Joe Biden, beside him .

I salute my Egyptian-neighbour Wagdi (Abou Maan)
who came to spend the evening with me
with a Bottle of Champagne.....

I salute and thank History
which shall make me
have my breakfast tomorow morning
without a Husny Mubarak  !!
