THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT CONDEMNS HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN THE INTERNATIONALLY DISPUTED AREA OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR (IDA: JK): HABIB YOUSAFZAI WORLD KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

 

The Honourable John Baird, M.P. Member of Parliament for Ottawa West-Nepean, the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons responded to our letter sent regarding grave human rights infractions, and implementation of UN resolution which grants the right of self-determination to the citizens of Internationally Disputed area of Jammu and Kashmir (IDA: JK). Kashmir has been under illegal occupation by Brahmin-Hindus Indian government since October 27, 1947. The Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada reinstated in the letter, "The promotion and protection of human rights is an integral part of Canada's foreign policy. Canada attaches great importance to freedom from all forms of discrimination and religious intolerance, and respect for cultural, ethnical and religious differences."
