INTERACTIVE VOICE RESPONSE SYSTEM FOR RECRUITMENT IN ARMED FORCES

The Armed Forces' HQ Recruiting Zone, Kolkata, covering the states of  West Bengal, Orissa and Sikkim has established an Interactive Voice Response System(IVRS) with 30 line dialing facility for helping candidates who are interested to join Armed Forces.

 

The endeavour of the Armed Forces recruitment Directorate has always been to provide transparency in recruitment procedures by the Armed Forces. The open rally system functional for the last one decade has helped to a great extent in this direction. However, gullible and weak candidates with limited prospects still fall prey to enticement offered by touts due to lack of knowledge and limited availability of information despite advertisement and newspaper publicity.

 

This IVRS system is available in three languages-English, Hindi and Bengali and covers the entry parameter, trades, qualifications etc. It also gives out rally schedule and location. The number of this facility is 033-22235253.
