DMK leader and M Karunanidhi called on the Indian government to “realise the real face of Sri Lanka” in a statement issued in Chennai. He called on India to support an international inquiry into mass atrocities committed by Sri Lanka. In all the wars India fought with its neighbours, Sri Lanka supported China and Pakistan against India, while the 100 million Tamils world over were pro-Indians.
