Subject: Humane-Rights-Agenda Student plans to protest/Boycott CST to SAVE TEACHERS
FYI...spread to all teachers, students, people interested in education. FYI, this is what the students are talking about and planning...very interesting. ..just FYI. Whether you agree or disagree with the tactics, it is clear that the students are at least willing to take risks to save their education; something that the leadership of LAUSD obviously failed to do. As a progressive educator, I support the actions of our students! The least I can do is let all of you know about their plans.

All students from all High Schools in the LA Area are invited!!! Come join us at this organizing meeting so you can help us plan the big protest this FRIDAY @ LAUSD!!!
Organized by Students from various high schools in the LA area (Miguel Contreras, Santee, West Adams, Orthopedic, Lincoln...etc. )

We are calling for all students middle and high school in LAUSD to not go to school on Friday!! We have to show LAUSD that we as students are super serious about this and we want to send a loud message so they help us! DO NOT FIRE OUR TEACHERS!!! NO PINK SLIPS!! SAVE OUR EDUCATION!!!
On Friday, do NOOOOT STAY HOME!!! Get people from your school to allllll go to protest in front of the LAUSD building!!! The protest in front of LAUSD starts at 10:00AM so please make plans to walk, bus, metro u know to show up on time!! Here is the address of the buiding.

Do not go alone. If a loooooot of us go, they will not give us tickets, detention. we have to do something super crazy big because the teachers union do anything so we have to do something so we have to do it for ourselves and i hope the teachers join us to.

On Tuesday May 26, 2009, the LAUSD Board of Education is going to decide if they will fire our teachers.
